# Events

**What Are Events?**\
Events empower your church to **promote gatherings, services, and programs** seamlessly. From Sunday worship to volunteer drives, this feature ensures your congregation stays informed and engaged with all church activities.

**How to Create an Event**

1. **Navigate to Events**:
   * Go to the **Events** tab in your Admin Dashboard.
   * Click **+ Add Event** to begin.
2. **Add Essential Details**:
   * **Title**: Use a clear, action-oriented name (e.g., “Community Outreach: Summer Food Drive”).
   * **Date & Time**: Set start/end times to avoid scheduling conflicts.
   * **Cover Image**: Upload a vibrant photo or graphic to capture attention (e.g., event flyers or themed visuals).
   * **Description**: Provide key details—location, agenda, attire, or registration links.
3. **Publish or Schedule**:
   * Save to publish immediately or schedule for later to align with promotional campaigns.

**Manage Events with Ease**

* **Search**: Filter events by date, keyword, or status (e.g., “upcoming” or “past”).
* **Edit**: Update details, extend deadlines, or refresh visuals as plans evolve.
* **Delete**: Remove canceled events to keep your calendar clutter-free.
